Similarities and Differences between the Laws
Similarities: Both Australia and China have compulsory school laws. For the preschool years both countries allow as young as three to begin this section of education. Both offer twelve years of education and also the chance to go to university.
Differences: Each country has a different age limit in which children must start school. In Australia it is compulsory to begin school at the age of five however some children start at four. In China children start school at six or seven.

Similarities and Differences between Schools
Similarities: The schools each receive a funding from their state, territory or community. Also a school education is offered for disabled children as well as private schooling. Just like in Australia children are allowed to attend the school intheir suburb or closets to our home. In Australia these schools are known as public schools. They are free and are paid by the government. Both sets of schools offer the subjects of different languages. The educations are broken down into different categories however all of the sections link.
Differences: There are more schools in China compared with Australia because China has a larger population. While researching the similarities and differences of the two questions above, I noticed that there were more similarities between the two countries educational systems than difference. It is not compulsory to wear uniforms in China but for the majority of schools in Australia there is a necessary rule to wear a uniform.
